Summit Church was born from a calling and a dream. For a number of years prayer, planning and preparation took place in Indiana. A team gathered together in this preparation to move to Colorado and begin a church. The team included the staff and others that believed in the mission and values of Summit.
Services began with a small group of people Easter Sunday in April, 2004. That group slowly grew over the summer as people in the community saw Summit Church road signs and the website, and as the final members of the church staff moved to Colorado.
In September 2004 an official Grand Opening service took place and our congregation doubled in size. Summit continued to see people from the metro area join our community, form relationships and grow closer to God.
Strong leadership has developed and aided through much change. In January 2006, staff transition took place. Craig Coe moved from Assistant Pastor to Lead Pastor and has lead the congregation since.
Summit Church is now a stonger community, committed to providing a casual and safe environment for people to learn about God and explore their faith.
